Our speaker Frederik Marain will give a presentation at Webscene around 12.00. Registration for this lecture is not required. We will be presenting our Bekaert case:
‘The Bekaert case: measuring your web project through an integrated approach truly leveraging overall business objectives’ The Reference illustrates how web strategy and KPI’s, CMS selection and choice of distribution channels really determine the success of your web project.


About our speaker, Frederik Marain
Frederik Marain has been working as a strategic consultant at the Reference for the last three years. He worked with clients as KBC, Atos Worline, Bekaert and many others. He has proved to be an expert in internet strategies that work. In 1996 he started Planet Internet in Belgium, where he was Director Media until 2002. Before that, he worked as an Economics editor at the Belgian Newspaper De Standaard for 8 years. Marain teaches New Media and Internet Journalism at the Catholic University in Leuven, the Erasmus Hogeschool and the Plantijn Hogeschool. He obtained an MA in Philosophy and Economics at the Catholic University in Leuven and an MBA at Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.
