Artexis, organizer of fairs and manager of exhibition halls and convention centers, unveils its new corporate and exhibition venue websites where all the activities of the company are put in the spotlight.
Ghent based digital agency The Reference was responsible for the creation of this new web platform with up to 24 sites and numerous applications. The agency paid extra attention to a consistent design and a maximum reusability between the different sites.
The first phases have gone live with the new corporate website for Artexis Belgium and the 4 new venue websites for Flanders Expo, Expo, Antwerp, Namur Namur Expo, Palais des Congrès. All these sites are characterized by a uniform streamlined, bright and airy design and use the same Content Management System Sitecore. The four venue sites: Flanders Expo, Antwerp Expo, Expo and Namur Namur Palais des Congrès impress with a similar look and feel, in line with the corporate site of Artexis, but with their own structure in which they have made a choice from common basic building blocks to organize the website according to their own needs.
The Artexis exhibition and events 2010-2011 is the link between the five new sites: it is an interactive online catalog in which all fairs are listed chronologically and per venue, with a clear description of each event, an alphabetical index and useful information about the different locations. One can add own notes and the document can be forwarded to other interested parties. The "keep-me-informed" aspect is also integrated in the newsletter, with a central database built for the various entities and newsletters tailored to their individual profile.
