Web Services and Back-end Integration
Besides building full blown web applications, The Reference can extend those applications so other software applications can connect to it and consume the data. This is achieved by using open standards, such as web services (both SOAP and REST).
Besides providing those interfaces, The Reference can of course also connect to existing
back-end interfaces to consume already existing data.
